John stops walking up the stairs and peers down at Karkat, raising an eyebrow.
"Well? Aren't you coming upstairs or are you going to keep checking out the living room?" He asked, leaning over the railing.

Karkat rolls his eyes,and just begins to walk up the stairs.

John shakes his head and proceeds to the top of the stairs, turning towards his room and walking in.
Nic had just started whining again, not even broken into a full out cry. Stepping closer, John looked into the crib at his son, reaching down to pick him up.
"Shhh." He cooed, cradling the baby in his arms "You're okay..."
The whines slowly subsided as he stared up at John with tired eyes.

Karkat watches the scene,watching john handle nic expertly.He walks over and looks at the small bundle of joy in john's arms.He looks so goddamn adorable,and so much like john.

John turned his head to look at Karkat, then back down at his son.
Nic reached up his hand towards John, earning a small laugh from him.
John looked back towards Karkat and gave him a smile.
"Do you want to hold him?" He offered.

Karkat nods,"Yeah."A small smile comes onto his face as john hands him nic,Karkat looks down at the kid.

Nic looks up at Karkat, his face turning a bit confused yet so interesting.
He made a small noise and reached up, trying to grab something, he just seemed confused on as to what.

John stood back and watched them both, finding the scene really cute. He honestly was waiting for the moment he would see this and it almost brought tears of happiness to his eyes.

Karkat lets out a chuckle as he watches the kid.A smile planted on his Face.He notices the kid reaching for something to grab.

Nice scrunched up his face and yawned, bringing his hand back down to pressed against his eyes.
John took noticed and tilted his head, wondering why Nic even woke up in the first place.
"...I'll go get his bottle downstairs." Was all John said before heading towards the door and walking down the stairs.
Nic seemed to have noticed John had left the room, since he started to make soft whines.

Nic looks back up at Karkat, eyes wide since he had never seen him before. He giggled a bit and moved to clutch onto Karkat's shirt.

John hurried downstairs and grabbed a bottle from the fridge. Putting it in the microwave, he yawned and leaned against the counter.
"He remember, doesn't he?" A female voice asked.
John turned his head to look at Casey, hair obviously messy and in her pyjamas. He quickly nodded and she crossed her arms.
"And you're not going to tell him about what happened when you were giving birth, huh?" She questioned.
John shook his head again and took the warmed up bottle out of the microwave, which had beeped seconds before.
"He doesn't need to know. It would make him feel worse." John murmured, testing the bottle out on his arm.
"He deserves to know..." Was all Casey hissed before walked back upstairs again and slamming her door shut.
John sighed and begun to walk up the stairs too, peering into his room briefly. He could hear Nic starting to act up from the door being slammed.
