Karkat Vantas was currently asleep at his computer station, since gamzee,terezi,kanaya,and him were taking turns keeping watch for jack noir,It was terezi's turn right now so he finally had the chance to rest.

John sat in front of his computer. His eyes darted to his lap nervously as he waited for it to turn on. He bit his lip as his eyes gazed up towards the screen. He logged onto the chat quickly and looked down the list of names.
carcinoGeneticist John read, feeling his heart stop.
He clicked on the name and took a deep breath.
"...karkat?" He typed.

Karkat's eyes opened ,hearing the familiar ping for trollian that signaled he had a message.He sat up right,and rubbed at his eyes,blinking at the screen.He let out a yawn,and typed back "Yeah john?"He glanced around the room,awaiting john's next message.

John sat up straight and felt his throat go dry.
"is there anyway you could possibly come over?" He typed then added afterwards "i.. really have to talk to you. it's important."

Karkat blinked at this,and thought for a moment before typing back,"Just let me ask terezi if she can cover my shift for guard duty later and I'll be right over"

"okay, please hurry..." He typed.
He pushed his chair back and ran a hand through his hair nervously. His mouth was now completely dry as his body started to shake a bit.

Karkat blinked at this,and quickly shouted at terezi for her to cover his guard duty. He walked over to the teleporter and quickly typed in the coordinates.He was teleported to outside of john's house,wondering what the problem was.

John stood up quickly, knowing that Karkat would be at his door any minute.
He slowly walked downstairs, and walking into the living room.

Karkat walked up to the door,and knocked on it,Still completely puzzled over what the problem could be.

John quickly walked over to the door, revealing a confused Karkat. He quickly grabbed the others arm and pulled him in, closing the door shut but didn't turn back towards the troll.

Karkat just looked even more confused,and waited for the other to speak,There was a moment of silence before karkat spoke up,"what's wrong?"He couldn't hide the confusion in his voice.

"Y-You know... that thing... we did...?" John asked, not bothering to turn his head back around to look at Karkat. His voice and body shook as he tried to stay as calm as possible.

"Yeah"Karkat said,still puzzled.He could see the boy practically shaking so he was making karkat worried himself.Karkat bit down on his lip.

John gulped back and stepped away from the door. He kept staring at the floor as his face heated up.
"I don't know how t-to exactly put this..." He muttered "I-I'm... uh..."

Karkat just looked at the other,waiting for him to continue the setence.

John took a deep breath, raised his head and looked at Karkat.
"...I'm pregnant." He forced out.

Karkat was silent for a moment,and then it hit him as he fainted .(LIKE A WIMP) John was pregant,he was having his children .

"K-Karkat?!" John asked, quickly kneeling down next to the troll.
He was expecting him to be yelling and freaking out, but fainting was definitely not on the list of things Karkat would do.
John started to slap the others face gently, trying to get him to wake up.
"Karkat, c'mon... Don't do this so me..." He muttered, extremely worried.

Karkat soon got up,rubbing at his eyes and trying to not freak the f*ck out.He glanced at the other,trying to keep a calm expression on his face but some of his worry was shown as he asked,"Are you sure?"

John nodded and looked away.
"I was not sure at first... but then I started to get the signs and I actually took a few of those home tests and they all turned up positive." He mumbled "...I just want to know how something like this... happened..."

Karkat nodded.
"As do i since we're different species and all,I'm also pretty sure our species's don't even reproduce the same way"Karkat murmured,looking away as well.He was still shocked.

John shook his head.
"We don't reproduce the same way..." He sighed and bit his lip, shaking a bit more "How the hell am I suppose to deal with this?"

"Well We'll have to find a way how to deal with it"Karkat said,the emphasis on we'll.they had both done this so he was going to help,whether john liked it or not.

John raised an eyebrow.
"And you're not going to faint again?" He asked.
He then shook his head and ran a hand through his hair. "I-I guess we could get some help from someone..." He muttered.

Karkat shrugged,"If i faint,It won't be because of you,John"
He thought for a moment,considering who would help them and the first person who came to mind was a strider.
"For advice,The only person i think who's experienced enough with children would have to be strider's guardian,considering how he raised strider by himself"Karkat commented.
