"Why does everything that you say always sound so sarcastic and hurtful?" John asked, standing up.
He started to walk towards Karkat, got quickly got dizzy and fell.

Karkat quickly caught the other before he could fall,and said in a serious tone,"Because my equivalent of a parent was a crab."

John looked up at Karkat and quickly looked away, clinging to the other as he let out a sigh.
"Well... whatever..." He muttered, making an attempt to stand up himself.

Karkat waited until john could stand on his own,before releasing the boy from his grip,He glanced at the other,contemplating something before asking,"So would you like to see the kids with me or not?"

Karkat laughed a bit,and smirked,before saying"Let me go tell the fucking nurses to unhook you from that"He looked at the iv,puzzled about it was.

John frowned and looked down at his arm. He then nodded and looked back at Karkat.
"Please." He said, turning his gaze back towards the IV and examining it.

Karkat nodded,and quickly left the room,coming back with the nurse who unhooked john from the iv.

John smiled at the nurse, thanking her silently as he got back up on his feet. He fixed his glasses and smiled nervously.
"Well, lets go then..." He muttered.

Karkat nodded,and walked out of the room,to where the nursery was to see their kids.

John followed the troll closely, looking around as people stared. He then noticed they were finally in front of the large window to the nursery.
He stopped and looked through the glass, examining all the newborns.
"There!" He said, pointing out two sleeping babies.
First he examined the girl, she had the same colored skin as John, black hair barely showing on top of her head, along with two nubby horns on the top of her head. She was wrapped in a pink blanket and slept soundly.
The boy was next, but he was wide awake. He had Karkats skin color, along with the same horns as his sister and father. His bright blue eyes barely open as he looking around sleepily. To make things simple, he looked like a minature Karkat except with shorter hair on his tiny head.

Karkat blinked at seeing their kids,and carefully examined them both ,almost to the point of pressing his nose up to the glass."They're fucking adorable"He murmured,his voice surprisingly soft.He glanced at the other,and said in a playful tone."No naming our son after nic cage"
He then turned his head back to the glass,watching their son glance around sleepily before making a pouty face because of the light.Yep,Definitely this kid had inherited more of his genes then john considering his aversion to the light.Only Jade-Bloods in troll society had been able to stand the sun and the light for long.

John crossed his arms and looked at Karkat, pouting a bit.
"You take the fun out of everything." He muttered.
John looked over at his kids, wondering about names. He hadn't even prepared any names.
He then started to think seriously. He had a family. He was actually in his own family with his own of springs. The thought of it made tears start to form in his eyes.
He quickly wiped his eyes, hoping Karkat wouldn't have noticed and smiled softly.
"S-so do you have any names?" He asked, cursing himself for stuttering.

"Nope..What about you?"Karkat asked the other,still watching the kids before a spur of a name hit him."How about Casey for the girl?"He suggested.

Johns eyes immediately lit up as he turned his head towards Karkat he nodded eagerly and laughed.
He turned his head back and looked at the boy and tilted his head.
"What about Ash?" he asked "Ash Vantas has a nice ring to it."
